We are not unlike Gaspar within his own time. Unlike authorities who could only think of revenge, punishment, and retribution, Gaspar's faith and voice were not silenced. His motivation, as is ours today, is one of courage, compassion, and reconciliation.

We drink from that same cup of courage and compassion.
